Early this morning CompTIA put out a study of the top 20 Tech Towns for 2018. Huntsville put in a strong enough performance to land it at #10. The study cited Huntsville's low cost of living and getting the most out of your money with its tech opportunities. Other cities that made the list also include Raleigh, Austin, Boulder, San Francisco, San Jose, Dallas, and Durham/Chapel Hill (known for Research Triangle Park). Once again Huntsville Captures top honors for Engineering - Feb 2015
While the city Huntsville was locked into a snow and ice cycle in February and March, organizations have bestowed titles of top engineering city on Huntsville.
Forbes and NerdWallet have announced that Huntsville is the best place for engineers. By far away and an easy pick among the organizations Huntsville stood out the most. Not only that but reading further into the article Decatur, AL also made the list, making the metro area very strong indeed in terms of an engineering powerhouse. The hidden gem of the Huntsville area is once again proudly recognized.
Also sneaking in on another list. Huntsville managed to get into the top 15 of top cities for pay in STEM (Science Technology Engineering Math) jobs. With the above awards of engineering, these two can easily seen being hand in hand which looks back at another list by Wallethub showing Huntsville on the list for most educated cities.

Huntsville on 2 More Best Cities List
Huntsville is right near the top of two more lists that have come out recently.
One is Best Places in the South for Computer Programmers. Huntsville ended up at #2 on that list right behind Melbourne-Palm Bay, Florida. Also above both Atlanta and Dallas.
The other list came out earlier is the Top Metro Areas for Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) graduates. In this one, Huntsville came in at #3 under San Jose, CA, & Washington DC/Arlington/Alexandria Metro, but still above San Francisco, Boulder, Seattle, and Boston.
As more of these lists come out, we will continue to publish these to show what an excellent place the Huntsville Metro Ares is to live!
